This white dining room has dark hardwood floors and window frames. The light dining table with the black chairs make a great contrast. One thing I really notice in this dining room is the repeating small square shape of the windows and the chair backs..

A bit of color is injected into the living room area, with green sofas and pink throw pillows. The cream leather ottoman works as a coffee table as well as extra seating.

This white kitchen is clean, simple and modern with polished marble counter tops and stainless steel appliances.

I love it when someone goes out of the “box” and completely reinvents something. This is the feeling I got from looking at one of the featured homes decorated for Halloween on Country Living blog:

If you feel a déjà vu coming, you are probably thinking about this earlier post on Caitlin Moran, using the same gorgeous floral wallpaper. A collage of black framed mirrors in all shapes and sized on the wall, and we can see hints of a black chandelier. Not bad for a home office!

Interior Designer Sara Story shows you a new way to set color to your home. Leave the walls white while you paint the ceiling and floor!

A long narrow room like this kitchen is perfect for some ceiling color. But the deep purple ceiling aside, check out the gorgeous painted pattern on the hardwood floors!

The way Interior Designer Janie Hirsch often use one color scheme throughout a whole house, really fascinate me! If you don’t remember the gorgeous blue home we looked at before, you can see it here. This time she has used a soft shade of yellow which she has combined with both white and dark stained wood:

The kitchen is very modern with stainless steel appliances.

But further into the room is the classic styles kitchen dining area. Cute blinds.

The living room is in an open plan solution with the kitchen as far as I can tell. Take a look at that mirror!

Even the bedroom is yellow. Bedroom idea: hang a curtain behind the bed to create a draped fond wall. And instead of a bench at the end of your bed, why not place you desk?

This modern retro style loft apartment is designed by Interior Designer Lori Dennis. The Living room has a feature wall and ceiling of raw concrete and bare pipes. I love how Lori has worked this industrial look into the design instead of covering it up and painting the walls. You can click the pics for a larger view:
