Working from a clean slate, this classic cream walled room is given a modern look with dark hardwood floors, turquoise walls and white trimmings. For this style be sure to mix pieces from different eras, like modern black and white striped sofa with hot pink Victorian chairs. I love how the fire place brick were painted black.

Wow, what a transformation! The before kitchen was so dark and outdated. Don’t get me wrong, I looove olive green, but the end result is undeniably light and pretty. Looks like the cabinets are the same, only given a lick of white paint. New are the white tiles, lighter counter tops and kitchen iceland with chairs.

What an amazing transformation in this living room. Beige walls are painted blue, furniture is rearranged and bright orange is brought in as an accent color. The white rug really brightens up the room!

really great transformations!! i think the last pic, the sofa edging out past the wall is bothering me a bit but otherwise really nice …. i especially liked the first room
