Coral Red and White Top Model Home

I was really impressed by what the Top Model Home contestants had accomplished on a $5,000 budget, remember we looked at Jill Shevlin’s design entry here. Lets check out some of the other entries, starting with this all-red open solution by interior designer Cindy Blunt:

*

coral red and white contemporary modern open solution living room

Coral red and white open solution accented with dark brown and black.

*

coral red and white living room with black details

Nice subtle elements of African design. Rattan floor vase with a bouquet of..  feathers! So creative!

1/3 wood paneling is used to separate the dining area from the living room. I really want a rug under the dining furniture in this entry too.. just to define the dining space a bit more. Personal taste maybe.

*

Even the table setting matches the room design!

*

I love the zigzag wallpaper in a few shades lighter than the walls, really adds to the african theme!

*

coral red and white entry hallway

Very pretty coral red hallway!

I really love the contrast between the coral red and crisp white,  not to mention the exotic undertones brought in by the rich chocolate brown. Pretty color combo aside, what do you think of  using red throughout an open plan solution like this? Too intense or just right? Click here to cast your vote for your favourite design!
